How we got clients, well, sometimes.

How we got clients, well, sometimes.

It was 2011.  And we were searching for qualitative researchers for a client. That is when we stumbled upon The Third Eye. In true purist executive search protocol, my erstwhile colleague, Rita Raja who managed research, cold called them. And who did she speak with?  Jasmeet Srivastava, the founder, without knowing of course! The diligent Rita began probing her about The Third Eye, its talent, structure etc. using tricks of the trade. Jasmeet, being a research authority of the highest order got a bit curious about who we were and how executive search operated. With rare grace and equanimity, she understood that we were just doing our job (in targeting her company for talent) and never held it against us. The Third Eye too needed people and she summoned us for a meeting. We went over, feeling awkward inside, given the backstory, but never once did Jasmeet make us feel uncomfortable. After we shared our credentials and process, we were signed on immediately to help them in their TA needs.  The association has continued till date. We are incredibly proud and fortunate to have encountered The Third Eye, and not just from a business relationship aspect. They treat their associates well. In fact, like clients. This was, and is, without doubt, one of the most memorable ways of us acquiring one.

For those who want to know more. The Third Eye, (www.thirdeye.cc)  founded and run by Jasmeet and Gitanjali Ghate, is a peerless company. Amongst other aspects, so rigorous, adept and respected are they, that some of their clients which include top tier global and Indian companies, send their marketing folk to them to learn qualitative research.  Their collaborative, inclusive culture, and commitment to excellence daily makes them an employer of choice, with negligible attrition in a space where job hopping is rampant, and the talent pool is small. They practiced compassionate leadership well before it became famous. Those who leave them, have only great things to say.  In Dec 2023, they completed thirty years of existence. Here is to the next thirty!
